I’m not sure what is most satisfying, the completion of a manuscript or its publication. There’s a lot of time and work between the two. Once I type those two words: The End, work of a different type starts: editing it over and over myself, sending it to friends and family who want to read it, sending it to Beta readers, sending it to professional editors, and sending it to my publisher for another round of edits.

Murder at the Pontchartrain is the 6th Sydney Lockhart series. Sydney has grown, become involved in a romantic relationship, and picked up more sidekicks than XXX. Despite all that’s happened in her life, she’s still the same Sydney, sassy and too outspoken for her own good.

This time, Sydney is up against war criminals and the KKK. She’s also about ready to tell Dixon to hit the road.
