Murder at the Pontchartrain #6: Review by Readers’ Favorite
Murder at the Pontchartrain is an exceptional, gripping, and intriguing mystery with intricate details and surprising turns. It felt like I was a part of Sydney’s team. Lydia was my favorite character because of her wisdom. I appreciated how her character was portrayed as both intelligent and charming while still maintaining the playful nature of a 12-year-old. is another unforgettable story in the Sydney Lockhart Mystery series. Well done!
Murder at the Menger #5: Review by Readers’ Favorite
Murder at the Menger by Kathleen Kaska is an old-fashioned murder mystery that takes you back in time to 1953. Murder at the Menger has a lot going on and it takes the reader into several different plot situations with never a dull moment. It is impossible not to root for Sydney and her tag-along crew as they leap into trouble at every corner. Murder at the Menger has an old movie or television feel but with modern-day twisting and turning. Kathleen Kaska has a real knack for creating a murder mystery with room for funny, likable characters with a storyline that will keep you entertained until the unexpected ending.
Murder at the Driskill #4: Review by Geza Tatrallyay author of the Artic Inferno
Ms. Kaska has written another tour de force of a novel set in Austin Texas, in 1953, Murder at the Driskill. She concocts a delicious plot with crisp dialogue spiced with humor and well-shaped but very human characters. A novel that is a delight to read!

I couldn’t stop reading Murder at the Galvez. This story immersed me from the very beginning! A fast pace mystery story, delightful characters, and an engaging plot. This book is amazing down to the last page! Recommend it.
Murder at the Luther #2: Review by Bruce Rolfe author of the Chip Hale Mysteries
Kathleen Kaska is a natural-born storyteller with a deft hand for transforming Sydney’s everyday occurrences into uproarious and/or tension-filled scenes. Murder at the Luther is a fast-paced, Texas-sized whodunit that will keep you laughing and wondering whether the sexy redhead journalist will solve the crime and prove her innocence, let alone survive the cold-blooded killers trying to make her the perfect scapegoat — dead!
Murder at the Arlington #1: Review by Ben Rehder, Edgar Award Finalist and author of the Blanco County Mysteries
Murder at the Arlington is a twisty, fast-paced ride with a lot of laughs along the way. I can’t wait for the next adventure starring Sydney Lockhart. Kathleen Kaska has created one of the most memorable characters in years.
