Is this little guy cute or what? This is whooping-crane chick number 12-12. He is eight days old, and although, he looks perky, he’s still getting used to life outside the shell. So with that in mind, what caption would you give this photo?

He's adorable. How about "Who are you calling Big Head?" I love bids and books, too. I also love the Seattle area, although I don't live there. My sister lived in Seattle for years and now lives in Tacoma so I've been out there quite a few times and always enjoy my visits to the Pacific NW.

That's true; their head seems to grow faster than their body. Great caption.
The PNW is a nice part of the country, especially in the summer, although I miss my native state of Texas.
