On farm roads outside town
On farm roads outside town
where a stand of trees grow
where a stand of trees grow
On a farm roads where trees
stand, grow outside of town.

In plowed fields of soft soil
In plowed fields of soft soil
mice dart and nibble corn
mice dart and nibble corn
In soft soil of plowed corn
mice nibble in the fields.

Eagles perch on branches
Eagles perch on branches
patiently waiting by
patiently waiting by
On branches eagles perch
Waiting by patiently.

Outside in fields of corn
perched near town where trees grow
branches and the mice dart
in plowed farm soil by roads
eagles stand patiently
to nibble on soft mice.
